SynclyOne Terms of Service

Welcome to SynclyOne.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the SynclyOne mobile apps, website, and related services (the "Service"). SynclyOne helps families, schools, groups, and teams organize calendars, schoolwork, sports, and messages in one place.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use SynclyOne.

1. The Service

Depending on your plan, you may use SynclyOne to:

• create and manage a family calendar;
• add events, tasks, and reminders;
• organize school and sports activities;
• join families, groups, or teams;
• invite other users you authorize;
• receive notifications;
• follow tournaments, brackets, and rankings;
• share location with your family when you opt in.

Features may change over time.

2. Eligibility and children's information

SynclyOne is intended for parents, guardians, coaches, and other adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Child profiles (names, school, grade, photos, and schedules) may be added only by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. You represent that you have authority to provide information about any child you add.

This app is not listed in the Apple Kids Category. Parents manage family data.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Notify us immediately at synclysupport@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may sign in with email, Google, Facebook, or Apple. On iOS, Sign in with Apple is available.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy → Delete account. We remove or anonymize account-owned data where technically possible. Shared records and some provider-hosted files may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy or where legally required.

4. Subscriptions and billing

SynclyOne offers a free plan and SynclyOne Premium at $4.99 per month.

Premium includes unlimited teams and groups, Google Classroom sync, rankings, tournament tools, imports, family location sharing, sidebar customization, and priority support.

Where you pay depends on the platform:

• iOS App Store app: billed through Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit). Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Google Play app: billed through Google Play Billing. Payment is charged to your Google Play account. Manage or cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
• Web: billed through Stripe. Cancel from the app or by emailing support.

We do not sell digital subscriptions through Stripe inside the iOS or Android apps. Restoring purchases is available on the upgrade screen in the mobile apps.

If a free trial is offered, any unused trial time is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• harass, abuse, or harm others;
• upload unlawful or infringing content;
• attempt to access other families' private data;
• scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service;
• use the Service to collect children's data without parental authority.

We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Location, notifications, and device features

Family location sharing is optional and only visible to members of your family group. You can turn it off at any time.

Push notifications, camera/photo access for profile images, calendar access via connected Google accounts, and biometric lock (Face ID / fingerprint) are optional and described in the Privacy Policy.

Biometric unlock stays on your device. We do not receive your Face ID or fingerprint data.

7. Third-party services

Optional integrations include Google Calendar, Google Classroom, Gmail, GroupMe, Facebook Pages, and similar services. Those providers have their own terms. We only access them after you connect the integration.

Maps tiles may be provided by OpenStreetMap contributors.

8. Intellectual property

SynclyOne, its name, logos, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host and display that content solely to operate the Service for you and people you invite.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We do not warrant that schedules, scores, or synced school data are complete or error-free. You remain responsible for confirming times, locations, and school requirements with the original source.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SynclyOne is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, missed events, or third-party outages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $10 if you are on the free plan).

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance.
